Right of withdrawal – Right of cancellation

The customer has the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without specifying any reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date on which the customer, or a third party other than the carrier that is designated by the customer, takes possession of the goods. In order to exercise the right of cancellation, the customer must notify the Hohe Tauern National Park, Kirchplatz 2, 9971 Matrei, Austria by means of a clear statement (e.g. in a letter sent by post or in an e-mail) about the decision to cancel this contract, specifying name, address and, if available, telephone number.

The customer may use the standard cancellation form, but this is not obligatory. To uphold the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification to exercise your right of cancellation before expiry of the cancellation period. Consequences of cancellation
If the customer cancels this contract, we are obliged to refund all payments we have received including the delivery charges (except for additional costs arising if you chose a method of shipping different from the most cost-efficient standard delivery offered by us) without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notice of cancellation. The refund shall be issued to the same payment method which the customer provided for the original transaction, unless otherwise explicitly agreed with the customer; under no circumstances shall the customer be charged fees to process this refund.

We may withhold the refund until the items have been returned to us, or until the customer has provided evidence that he/she has shipped the goods, whichever takes place first.

The customer must ship or deliver the goods back to us, Hohe Tauern National Park, Kirchplatz 2, 9971 Matrei, Austria, immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which the customer notified us of his/her cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if the customer sends the goods back before the period of fourteen days has expired. The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The customer shall be liable only for the diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
